Shields Health has an exciting opportunity for an X-Ray Tech (or MRI Tech Trainee) to work Full-Time at various locations (Framingham (Mon/Wed), Brockton (Tues), Brighton (Thurs) and Dartmouth (Fri) 7:00 - 3:30pm.)

In keeping with Shields Health Care commitment to excellence, the x-ray technologist will provide a professional, caring atmosphere to all customer groups, while maintaining a fast-paced, multi-tasked oriented clinical environment.
Follow all proper policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at all times. These policies, procedures and protocols can be issued by Shields or the partnering hospital group for the location you are assigned to.
Maintain visual and verbal contact with the patient during the exam.
Record patient data to Tech Data Entry program.
Provide and issue films/CD when appropriate.
Forward data and or films/CD to Radiologist upon completion of exam.
Assist clerical staff as circumstances arise.
Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms as needed.
Must be able to sit and utilize a computer for extended periods of time. Above physical requirements can be met with or without accommodation.
Extensive interactions with all customer groups, including patients, families, referring community and other SHC employees. Will also have regular interactions with contractors, vendors, and medical transport personnel.
The incumbent will perform work of a lower or equivalent classification as required or directed, and work of higher classification for training and development purposes or as situationally warranted.
