Texas Children’s Hospital - Austin (TCHA) is highly specialized and offers numerous resources to families during the birthing process. In February 2024, Texas Children's Hospital North Austin will open-- a state-of-the-art, $485 million, top-tier hospital for children and women led by the finest pediatric and women's specialists in the nation. Texas Children’s Hospital Austin anticipates approximately 400 annual deliveries as they build their patient base.
St. David’s Medical Center is a 350-bed hospital offering full-service acute care and a surgical facility that has served the Austin community since 1924. The hospital is home to a level III NICU, spacious labor-delivery-recovery rooms, cesarean section suites, private postpartum rooms, a newborn nursery, NICU family rooms, and ongoing educational programs for new families.
