CT Tech specialty role Travel nursing position Unit Information: Aventura MC – CT Tech (726)

Job Requirements

Must have ARRT (CT) & BLS certifications Strongly prefer experience with GE and Meditech Preferred or nice to have skills: RT (T), ASRT Typical procedures performed: CT Scan, MRI, body scanner, X-Rays, create pictures of bones, organs, tissues and combine to create accurate picture assessment Best personality Fit: Communication skills, medical and anatomical skills, mechanical aptitude, ability to multi-task, work with a variety of physicians, radiologists, patients

Schedule Information

Day Shift – Director, Radiologist, 6-7 Techs Night Shift – Charge RN, On-call team, 3-4 Techs, varies on volume

Unit Specific Information

Number of Beds - 18 Number of Staff – 8 Type of staff: Radiologist, radiologist techs, Ultrasound Techs, MRI Techs, CT Techs Patient Ratios – 1:1, 1:2, depending on stability of patient Type of equipment – ALL GE Equipment, MRI Units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, fluoroscopy EMR - Meditech Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
