Our Values: Diversity, Integrity, Excellence, Accountability, Community and FUN Apply online at tesincpa.com today Position Summary The AmishView Inn & Suites Breakfast Kitchen Manager is responsible to ensure that the kitchen team provides an outstanding guest experience by delivering great service and products in a clean, healthy and safe environment at an award-winning hotel. The Breakfast Kitchen Manager oversees training, developing, coaching and retaining employees while maintaining a healthy culture and keeping morale high by using accountability, fairness and consistency. The Breakfast Kitchen Manager oversees employee compliance to established policies, procedures and guidelines. The Breakfast Kitchen Manager oversees catering events, ordering products and maintaining effective food and labor costs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Exhibits exemplary behavior in accordance with company mission statement and core tenets.
  • Work 5 shifts per week, approximately 5:30am - 1:30pm on weekdays and weekends, occasional evening and overtime may be required
  • Interact with our guests to help our team provide an outstanding breakfast experience
  • Ensures breakfast is opened timely, and food is cooked and maintained on buffet to service guest flow
  • Light grill work is required for our made to order ala carte breakfast items
  • Ability to operate small dish machine and help out as needed with general duties and cleanup in the kitchen and dining room
  • Follow food safety procedures as implemented by management and ServSafe standards
  • Responsible to oversee catering events at the hotel, including evening events as required
  • Coach and train fellow team members where needed to ensure a full and accurate understanding of kitchen policies and procedures with strong emphasis on guest hospitality
  • Hold team members accountable to policies, procedures and standards through coaching, leading by example and performance management as needed
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Minimum of two years leadership experience in restaurant/hospitality
  • English and Spanish language skills strongly preferred
  • ServSafe Certified a plus with the ability
