Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is opening a new Obstetric Emergency Department
Schedule: part-time, night shift with 2 x 12 hour shifts per week from 7:00pm to 7:00am
Sign-On Bonus Information: This position is eligible for a competitive Sign-On Bonus.
The Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED) will be an extension of our Labor and Delivery Unit. Our 8-bed OBED will open soon We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN who is passionate about triage and enjoys a fast-paced environment to join our team OBED RNs may float to our 13-bed Labor and Delivery Unit.

Requirements:
Required Experience: Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
General Requirements:
- Proficient in English, strong verbal, and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others

- Proficient computer skills required
Minimum Education Requirement: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.
Minimum Licensure/ Certification Requirement:
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Virginia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start
