International Tax Director Requirements:
~ 8-10+ years of progressive experience in tax roles, demonstrating significant advancements into leadership positions
~3+ years dedicated to international tax matters, with a proven track record of managing complex tax issues
~ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
~ Advanced degree (Masters or JD) in a related field is preferred
~ Experience with CCH tax software is highly preferred
~ International Tax Director Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the international tax department, directly managing a team of five tax professionals
Develop comprehensive tax strategies that align with client needs across multiple jurisdictions, emphasizing strategic tax planning and compliance
Liaise with UK and other global tax teams to ensure cohesive tax operations and client service delivery
Direct responsibility for tax compliance tasks including but not limited to individual, corporate, and LLC tax filings for over 200 entities
Design and implement tax structures and planning for high-net-worth international clients, focusing on efficiency and compliance
Supervise and enhance the quality of work produced by the tax team, establishing standards and practices that align with industry best practices
