University of Louisville Physicians is currently seeking BE/BC family medicine or internal medicine/peds physician to join our urgent care plus practices in Louisville. Each opportunity will allow you to explore the professional advantages of being part of a leading academic health system, UofL Health. We are seeking highly skilled and experienced candidates committed to teamwork, communication, empowerment and quality of care. The ideal candidate would provide standard care for patients of all ages.
Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine; board certification in family or internal medicine/peds and eligibility for licensure in Kentucky are required. Clinical experience in family medicine, internal medicine or emergency medicine is preferred.
~ This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures.
~ Familiarity with EPIC preferred; however, onsite EMR training will be provided
~ Ability to work independently and productively with minimum supervision
~ Shifts are 12 hour and require evenings, 8am to 8pm.
~3 shifts a week (156 shifts a year) 
~ There is a weekend rotation requirement.
