We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentice to join our team and further develop their skills in a dynamic work environment.

As a Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentice with 2 or more years of experience, you will have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals in the field of heavy equipment maintenance and repair. This individual will learn how to properly maintain commercial motor vehicles according to DOT regulations and Company standards. Retirement Saving Options, for future financial security

A day in the life* of an Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic:
Executing preventative Maintenance, including basic vehicle servicing to engine or transmission overhaul.
Diagnosing and repairing operational difficulties with heavy duty trucks and equipment.
Completing reports, work orders, order parts and perform other administrative duties.
Planning and scheduling repairs in M5 planner and procure all parts for successful plan.
Assisting in the review of mechanical write-ups on equipment and coordinate repair schedule.
Attending to service calls as needed, or emergent situations in the field.
Performing afternoon assigned tasks, either continuing tasks from the morning or starting new ones
Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanics must be able to:
Computer literate, have the ability to be trained on software systems and the willingness to learn.
Use diagnostic software a plus
Operate any vehicle or equipment necessary to perform job
