The Minnesota Mayo Clinic Health System Division of Psychiatry and Psychology is seeking supplemental NPs or PAs to help cover vacations, CME, and leave of absences for our inpatient NP/PA psychiatry team. A physician and a NPPA are always on-call to cover inpatient needs and emergency room consults. This NP/PA would assist with covering inpatient units in Albert Lea, MN and Mankato, MN. Should also have strengths in patient interviewing/history taking along with strong communication skills for care coordination.
Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and licensure as a PA by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. Strongly prefer CAQ in psychiatry.
Must be eligible for DEA registration and billing privileges.
Required: 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider with at least 1 year in-patient Behavioral Health direct patient care.
