The Medical Assistant, Full-Time, position is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care duties which include:
Recording documentation in the Electronic Medical Record in accordance with IPM guideline.
Assist with daily admiistrative duties, including covering the front desk, answering multi-phone lines and making copies of documents as necessary.
including scanning documents into files as necessary.
Independence Physician Management (IPM), a subsidiary of UHS, was formed in 2012 as the physician services unit of UHS. IPM develops and manages multi-specialty physician networks and urgent care clinics which align with UHS acute care facilities. It also provides select services for the Behavioral Health division of UHS. Our leadership team, practitioners, and teams of healthcare professionals are collectively dedicated to improving the health and wellness of people in the communities we serve.

Medical Assistant certificate required
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Medical Assistant
Fluent with medical terminology required
