Join our Connected Aviation Solutions (CAS) - Air Traffic Solutions - Whole Life Engineering Departmentfor an exciting career development opportunity as an Engineering Logistician and End of Life (EOL) Material Management Specialist . You will collaborate with a dedicated team of 50+ engineers representing several whole life engineering disciplines who support globally deployed Air Traffic Control (ATC) and related systems, including STARS and WAAS, which provide vital safety-of-life air traffic management support for the FAA, for the DoD, and for international counterparts. Our systems enable seamless control and navigation for civil and military aviation. but also to innovate, as we explore what is possible for our valued customer community and user base.
You will capture End of Life (EOL) data as part of vital program sustainment efforts.
You will develop End of Life (EOL) material forecasts.
You will perform material requirements and availability analyses.
You will update End of Life (EOL) tracking data.
You will prepare regular End of Life (EOL) data report deliveries and ensure continued, effective communication with important members of program and customer leadership.
You will learn proven End of Life (EOL) material management processes, equipping you with essential skills for expertly navigating critical transitions.
You will learn effective communication and reporting practices that are crucial for supporting and sustaining vital air traffic management operations.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, including a minimum of 2 years of experience within a Supply Chain, Logistics, or Property/Asset Management function.
Must have prior experience managing and reporting on component obsolescence, including reviewing and analyzing new product designs for potential obsolescence issues.
Education - Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 8 years of relevant experience
Prior experience utilizing engineering drawings and schematics to build or maintain hardware systems.
Prior experience working with manufacturing bills of material (MBOMs).
Prior experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.).
Prior experience performing research, executing transactions, and tracking materials in SAP (APEX/PRISM).
Prior experience extracting and manipulating data from SAP to produce stakeholder reports.
Prior experience analyzing and reporting on the obsolescence of Consumer Off-the-Shelf (COTS) equipment.
Prior experience interfacing with both supply chain and supplier personnel.
Prior experience providing primary communication of technical information to management, customers, and other engineering team members.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
