The Clinical/Staff Pharmacist is responsible for coordinating, on a day-to-day basis, the provision of high quality, comprehensive pharmaceutical care to the patients of Frye Regional Medical Center in accordance with established regulations and procedures. Frye Regional Medical Center, located in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina is a 355-bed acute care hospital, 81-bed Behavioral Health facility and more than 70 primary and specialty care providers.
Monitors drug therapy regimens for contraindications, duplications, drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, allergies, and appropriateness of drug, dose, and frequency
* Reviews/interprets laboratory data for therapy appropriateness and recommends changes as needed
* Interacts with patients, health care providers, clinics, and prescribers involved with the patient
* Documents all clinical activities and interventions accurately and completely
* Participates in the quality improvement and medication use review activities of the department as necessary

Bachelor's Degree Required
* Doctor of Pharmacy Preferred
Valid NC Pharmacy License
* BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacy Doctorate
