Working closely with elected school board members and other local government officials, their staff, and consultants, we regularly advise such government bodies on how to carry out their governmental purposes consistent with laws and regulations. We have represented clients in many transactions associated with the operation of county government, public school districts, villages, fire departments, libraries, water authorities, and other local government bodies throughout Long Island.

Our services include the defense of school districts during all phases of litigation including, but not limited to, employment discrimination, labor relations, construction, real estate and personal injury. We are routinely retained as counsel on behalf of insurance companies and the New York Schools Insurance Reciprocal to provide defense as to those matters for which coverage exists.

Our lawyers assist with the development of policies, draft proposed language, analyze legislative and regulatory provisions, develop legal opinions on complex legal and public policy issues, review contracts, and prepare testimony for witnesses appearing before administrative and judicial bodies.

Guercio & Guercio, LLP, with over twenty lawyers, also provides a high level of service to its personal injury clients. Our clients include individuals who have suffered serious injuries as a result of the negligence for malpractice of others. Guercio & Guercio, LLP is an active personal injury firm with a history of assisting people to obtain compensation in vehicular accidents, medical product liability, and premises liability and accidents.
