We are growing our Emergency & Critical Care Service and seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our overnight team
Our Emergency and Critical Care Technicians thrive in a fast-paced service, handle critical case, and enjoy the stimulating caseload. Assist Doctors: Collaborate closely with veterinarians to assist in exams, treatments, and medical procedures for emergency cases.
Team Collaboration: Work in conjunction with all technical staff across the hospital to ensure hospitalized patients receive optimal care. Maintain open communication with the healthcare team.
Intensive Care Unit (ICU): Vigilantly monitor hospitalized patients, recognizing subtle changes in their clinical status and promptly reporting any concerns to the veterinary team. Provide clear and concise discharge instructions to clients, ensuring they understand the care their furry family member requires after leaving the hospital.
Operate diagnostic imaging equipment and assist in capturing radiographs and other diagnostic images.
Blood Transfusion Therapy: Including collection, administration, and transfusion reactions.
Schedule: Full-time opportunities, with flexible scheduling. Overnight Shift or 3rd shift.
We offer a shift differential to all hourly associates who work within a specific timeframe. Shift differential is $3.Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT) or eligible to sit for the VTNE in 6 months.
