North 10 is a 26 bed inpatient Telemetry Unit which is part of the Hartford HealthCare Heart & Vascular Institute at Hartford Hospital. Nurses on North 10 care primarily for patients diagnosed with Acute Coronary Syndrome. patients who are pre- operative open Heart Surgery; Congestive Heart Failure patients and other Cardiac patients requiring monitoring. Our Nurses work in collaborative environments with strong interdisciplinary teams, focused on a patient centered care model in a richly diverse work space. Under the direction and general supervision of the Nurse Manager, the registered nurse utilizes evidence based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, policies and procedures of the hospital and as directed by the medical staff.
