Phlebotomist Instructor

Join our esteemed team at PTS, a well-established Utah-based organization with a proud 30-year history, as we embark on a search for a dedicated Phlebotomy Instructor at our prestigious *Jackson* location.

*Position:* Phlebotomist Director / Instructor

*Responsibilities:*
* Conduct comprehensive instruction in the art of phlebotomy for aspiring phlebotomists.
* Cultivate a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for students during lecture and all clinical drawing portions.
* Encourage and support students throughout the program to ensure successful completion.
* Deliver our insightful curriculum in a clear and easily comprehensible manner.
* Manage onsite inventory and classroom cleanliness.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures, including classroom documentation (If applicable).
* Productive attendance and timeliness to all scheduled classes.
* _*Required*_ reliable transportation and an address to receive inventory boxes.
* _*Required*_ Technology knowledge with IPads, mirror casting, troubleshooting, etc.
* _*Preferred *_- EKG knowledge and work experience

*State Requirements:*
* Classroom instructors shall have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
* Classroom instructors shall have additional training as follows: A minimum of three (3) years work experience in the technical area or related field. (Medical work experience such as MA, or Phlebotomy)
* A degree, certificate, or license in the subject area or related field; OR
* A minimum of eighteen (18) semester hours of credit from an accredited institution in mathematics and/or science, or courses related to the subject area.
* High school or college transcripts required as proof of completion

*Documents Required:*
* Medical Technical Certification (MA, CPT, etc)
* High School completion _with dates listed on resume_
* Current resume (w/ employer address & supervisor name)

*Schedule:*
*AM Shift:* Monday- Thursday, 9:00AM - 1:00PM

*Saturdays:* 8:00AM-4:30PM
