Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
We are looking for talented technicians to help full-scale production of the Kuiper satellites.
The success of Kuiper depends on the quality, reliability, cost, manufacturability, throughput, and security of the products that you deliver. and if you love the challenge of building something from scratch, then this role will be an ideal next career step. Assemble and test with emphasis to detail, an assortment of avionic LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, handle and install fiber-optics, and PCBAs
- Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated
- Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems
- Identify equipment requirements, process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory
- Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance
- Willing to work all shifts (days, evenings, staggered shifts) overtime and weekends as needed. Estimated shift times 1st shift: 8am-4:30PM Shift will vary, depending on program needs
- Flexible working/commuting in between site locations
- Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.

Employee Assistance Program
High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years relevant high traceability manufacturing experience (Aerospace, Medical or related field)
- 1+ years of hands-on work experience Electrical-Mechanical Assembly, Final Integration and/or Harness Integration experience
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with precision torque, measurement and inspection devices (i.e., automated and manual torque wrenches, torque drivers, calipers, micrometers, profilometers, optical inspection devices, multi-meters), as well as standard hand tools
