We are seeking a visionary Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing efforts and position Heroku as a leader in the cloud service industry. This role requires a leader who can navigate the competitive cloud computing landscape, leverage Salesforce’s ecosystem for integrated marketing efforts, and inspire a team to achieve excellence.
Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with Heroku’s mission and Salesforce’s standards and values, focusing on market leadership and innovation.
Lead brand management, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across all channels.
Foster strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance Heroku’s ecosystem and customer value proposition.
Drive customer engagement and loyalty through targeted digital marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Leverage Salesforce’s ecosystem for integrated marketing initiatives, enhancing cross-functional collaboration and innovation.
Measure and report on the performance of marketing activities, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure growth targets are met.
Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role, ideally within the cloud services industry. Strong analytical skills with an ability to make data-driven decisions.
Exceptional ability to drive and evaluate content quality and efficacy across marketing channels including events, SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media.
A track record of driving growth and enhancing brand visibility and loyalty.
Customer-centric approach with an emphasis on building long-term relationships.
Agile and adaptable, with the ability to pivot strategies in response to market trends and opportunities.
Strong collaborator who can work across departments and leverage Salesforce’s ecosystem to achieve business goals.
