Overview TRegistered Nurse (RN), STICU Novant Health is hiring for a Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit (STICU) registered nurse for the night shift at our New Hanover Regional Medical Center location in Wilmington, NC. We're offering up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus as well as $7,500 relocation. Schedule: Full-Time, 0.9 FTE, 72 Hours per 2 weeks, Night Shift, 7P-7A. Our unit comprises 16 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio averaging 1 to 3. Given the high acuity trauma cases we handle, our nursing team is closely-knit, offering support and camaraderie both within and outside the workplace. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing. Current valid North Carolina nursing license required. Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required. 1 Year of trauma level 1 or 2 ED or ICU experience in an acute hospital setting. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
