We are seeking a(an) Respiratory Therapist for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. As a Respiratory Therapist, you would administer therapy modalities as ordered by physician, performing all aspects of mechanical ventilators (initiation, operation, monitoring, etc) and arterial puncture and blood gas analysis. Verify physician orders prior to therapy treatment.
Give through, accurate report to oncoming staff at shift end.
Perform equipment rounds.
Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT from National Board Respiratory Care (NBRC), licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Respiratory Therapy Degree – AAS or BS.
Previous experience with mechanical ventilation, blood gas analysis and oximetry.
