Position Overview:

Strategy Consultants play an integral role in engagement delivery, client success, and business generation. Strategy Consultants lead client engagements, manage complex assignments, and routinely interact with the leading nonprofit C-Suite executives, boards of directors, and industry leaders. Strategy Consultants are expected to participate in marketing and business development initiatives to develop new and repeat client engagements and projects.

Primary Purpose:

To build and sustain long-term strategic relationships and deliver impactful services for highly satisfied clients in the human services sector.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Originate consulting engagements in the human services sector through the utilization of internal marketing and business development resources
  • Lead consulting engagements in the human services sector through the use of our firm's service delivery methodology and deliver superior results to clients
  • Guide and oversee strategic approaches to provide insights and actionable recommendations to clients
  • Responsible for overall project management including submitting proposals, leading discussions with clients, communicating recommendations, and completing high-quality deliverables in a timely manner
  • Develop meaningful client relationships through exceptional service while building a professional network
  • Publish insights and case studies to showcase areas of expertise in internal and external outlets, and deliver speaking engagements in areas of subject matter expertise

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate meetings at all levels of the clients organization, problem-solve, and make recommendations for improving our clients organization
  • Compile, analyze, and present information verbally, visually, and in writing using approved deliverable reports and templates
  • Empower Associates through coaching and mentorship, fostering a culture of shared learning and continuous improvement that elevates our services and sector expertise
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 7-10+ years experience preferably as a Strategy Officer, HR Director, management consultant, or equivalent experience
  • Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred; a combination of education/experience will be considered
  • Experience in strategic planning in the health and human services sector
  • Ability to view challenges through multiple levels of perspective and problem-solve creatively
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of an organization. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and remotely as a team player
  • Ability to manage complexity in a dynamic client and team environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with key internal and external leaders
  • Skilled in relationship-building and active listening
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace Products such as Google Drive/Docs/Sheets/Slides
  • Willingness to travel as required for client projects
