Ultrasound Technologist
CHRISTUS Highland Medical Center
1453 E Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport, LA, 71105
Shift: Varied 8hr, 10 & 12hr schedule - 7a/8a start
Length: 13wks
Orientation Billable at 70% of the bill rate up to the first 36hrs
Floating: Yes - Highland & Christus Bossier Emergency Hospital (2531 Viking Dr, Bossier City, LA 71111) - About 15mi or 23min commute between facilities
Call: Yes - Mostly Nights. Some Weekend Days/Nights. HOL will be full Days & Nights
HOL: Per Ministry Policy
Scrubs: Ceil Blue or Olive Green
Guarantee: 36-40hrs
EMR: Meditech

REQUIRED at the time of submission
Min 2yr of Ult Tech exp
Min 2yrs of General AND Vascular exp required
Need to be knowledgeable in OB/GYN and AB
ARDMS or ARRT (S) in (AB,OB/GYN and/or VT) required
LRST/ARRT (R,OB/GYN and/or BR) preferred
ARDMS (VT), ARRT (VS) or CCI (RVS) is accepted for vascular requirement
BLS (AHA Only)

Louisiana contractors – must obtain an additional background check for county and sex offender search in Louisiana within 45 days, (Preferred vendor used by CHRISTUS is Southern Research but other vendors accepted – refer to the LA State Police Authorized Agencies List for additional agencies)
