The Department of Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) is seeking highly qualified candidates for open-rank faculty positions in Interventional/Advanced Endoscopy within the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Rutgers RWJMS/RWJ Barnabas Health System. The practice encompasses outpatient facilities and hospitals in the health system. The presence of students, residents and gastroenterology fellows provides extensive teaching and procedural training opportunities.

Candidates must be skilled interventionalists with experience in EUS, ERCP, and EMR. Education focused and administrative leadership positions are available based on candidate interest and expertise. Positions come with competitive base salaries, bonuses, and attractive benefits.

Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, a 950-bed facility, is located in New Brunswick, NJ, and is the academic center of the integrated Barnabas health system interconnected with the largest New Jersey NCI-designated cancer center (Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey). The RWJUH Gastroenterology and Hepatology program together with Gastrointestinal Surgery has been recognized as a U.S. News & World Report High Performing Specialty. Gastroenterology outpatient clinic will comprise two floors in a state-of-the-art new ambulatory clinical building complemented by a new Cancer Center building, both opening in 2024.
