Job Description

Deployment Engineers work in the Operations Department at Avik Services LLC on installations and ongoing improvements of intelligent material handling solutions and cutting-edge applications. Avik Services LLC works with e-commerce companies, performing warehouse installations, maintenance, and integration tasks. You will travel extensively throughout North America to customer distribution sites, with all work-related travel expenses reimbursed by the company. There is room to grow and excel in this fast-paced organization.

Job Overview

This job requires the Installation Leads to support the mission to lead, facilitate, and coordinate installations to maximize the value delivered to clients within tight deadlines. The candidate should be a self-starter that can handle multiple tasks in parallel and show the ability to continually advance your knowledge to drive process improvement for future installations. The candidate should have the ability to quickly read and absorb installation documentation to accurately repeat tasks themselves in addition to training others. The candidate should be comfortable communicating to technical and non-technical individuals both within their own team and directly with clients.

Qualifications

  • Background in construction, warehousing, or equipment installation - highly beneficial
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Manage relationships within internal teams as well as client contacts
  • Experience supporting installation of construction materials or other hardware
  • Success working both as a member of a team and independently
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently or lead others to complete tasks
  • Problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
  • Proficiency working with hand and power tools is expected
  • Experience reading CAD drawings is ideal
  • Travel will be 80-100% with options to travel home every 2 weeks
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Forklift and Aerial lift certifications a plus
