Providence is hiring a full-time, board-eligible/board-certified General Cardiologist to join the greater dedicated team of fourteen other cardiologists and three cardiothoracic surgeons at the Heart Institute of Montana. Both places are known for their rich history, beautiful architecture, strong medical community and some of the friendliest people you will find in the state.This position will be a General Cardiologist providing 3 days a week coverage in an ambulatory cardiology clinic located on the campus of Barrett Hospital and Healthcare and 2 days a week of ambulatory cardiology clinic Butte, Montana at the PHI Butte Clinic, located on the campus of St James Intermountain Health. The end goal of this position is a full time 5 day a week clinic opportunity in Dillon. The expectations of the position are specific on each campus and may include but are not limited to supervision and interpretation of echos, stress echos, and heart rhythm monitors. Supervision of Device Clinic appointments, and Ambulatory NP and Follow Up cardiology appointments. Providing education to peers in rural communities is essential to the team building aspect of this position. This position is not a hospital position and does not have call.
