Description

Product Manager’s at Tatango help advance the vision and strategy of our product through a deep understanding of our users and the nonprofit sector. They identify the customer need and larger business objectives, articulate what success will look like, and rally a team to make that vision a reality.

This individual will bring a customer first mentality to the position with a deep understanding of the Nonprofit and fundraising landscape. They will implement/foster a culture of innovation and champion cross functional activities across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Engineering. This person will drive our product roadmap forward through a data driven approach and methodology.

  • Drive the development and launch of new products.
  • Be responsible for identifying customer needs and strategic business problems, defining and driving new development in areas such as Integrations, Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and API’s.
  • Define and manage the product roadmap and its process.
  • Foster a cross functional product culture with customer service, marketing, sales, engineering and data science.
  • Shape the product portfolio strategy, align the product roadmap and ultimately deliver results against that strategy
  • Discover and track trends in the Nonprofit and fundraising space.
  • Create product requirements for the Engineering and Customer Success teams. Leverage different spec formats, comps and working prototypes as necessary to describe functionality in sufficient detail to successfully drive product development and implementation.
  • Test and help plan and schedule releases.
  • Define and track KPI’s for all our product releases.
  • Work across all Tatango organizations and communicate major roadmap milestones to various stakeholders (leadership, customers, teammates) regularly.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in the end-to-end delivery of a product to market, specifically in the CRM, CDP or fundraising space (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience within the SaaS industry, with a focus on CRMs and/or Customer Data Platforms (CDP)
  • Ability to think strategically yet execute methodically to deliver and maintain high standards
  • Capable of implementing a data-driven approach and using inputs from multiple data sources to drive the product roadmap.
  • Proficient at collaborating with Design on prototypes to bring potential solutions to life.
  • Excellent project management skills specifically in the Agile space.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills, with the aptitude to present complex problems and outline them in a clear and visual manner
  • Takes ownership for responsibilities and is proactiv/communicative about those duties.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and a productive approach to problem solving
  • Ability to foster collaboration across stakeholders & departments and align them around the vision, to unlock the innate collective power of cross-functional teams.
