And last, as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) you can expect better staffing ratios that allow staff to provide detailed and appropriate care, and your voice will be heard. Effectively communicates resident needs with physicians and immediate supervisor
• Maintains awareness of the condition of all residents under their care
• taking ultimate responsibility for resident care
• Confers with Director of Nursing on an ongoing basis with special problems of care, resident transfers, management of workload, etc.
• Coordinates preparation and planning of resident admission; giving proper recognition to the real and potential contribution of family and others in planning nursing care
• Provides for emotional and physical comfort and safety of residents, and emotional support to families
• Supervises, assists, consults with, and teaches certified nursing assistants
Graduate of a state board-approved school
• This is an hourly position, which means you must be able and willing to work weekends and holidays as required/needed
