As a Physical Therapist, your primary mission is to deliver exceptional Physical Therapy services, adhering to all current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Guided by the VP of Therapy Services and/or the Administrator, you will ensure that the highest level of quality care is consistently provided to our residents.
Shifts Available:
• Part-time, 24 hours per week. Hours are flexible.
Assess and update care plans for residents at admission and annually
• Deliver Physical Therapy treatments per physician orders and assist with discharge planning
• Complete daily documentation, supervise PTAs, and assist with clinics and appointments
• Communicate effectively with families and interdisciplinary staff
• Participate in weekly MDS and Care Plan meetings, ongoing Physical Therapist training, and orientation
• Manage equipment/supplies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including infection control
• Complete all necessary job requirements, including vaccinations
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy required
• Basic computer skills required
• Excellent communication skills essential, including proficiency in English
• Specialized knowledge preferred in pediatric Physical Therapy, pediatric orthopedics, and aquatic therapy
• Experience working with multiple disabilities
