Come be part of our team of patient focused rehabilitation professionals at our state of the art hospital located in Rio Rancho, New Mexico as an Occupational Therapist working PRN Days.
Our hospital provides high-quality care that transforms the lives of those living with disabling injuries and illnesses. We distinguish ourselves through our commitment to excellence- to our patients, to our employees, and to the communities we serve. Our Occupational Therapists are responsible for evaluating patients and helping them improve basic motor function and reasoning abilities and compensate for permanent loss of function by teaching them to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments. Also assist patients in selecting appropriate adaptive equipment and assistive devices when necessary. applying appropriate standards, policies and procedures and guidelines in caring for patients.
Provides an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff. Assesses the risks for safety and implements appropriate precautions. Complies with appropriate and approved safety and Infection Control standards.
Two years’ direct patient occupational therapy care and treatment experience preferred.
Experience in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred, we welcome recent graduates to apply
