The Department of Surgery at Stamford hospital is seeking a BC/BE general surgeon with fellowship training in surgical critical care to join our trauma division at Stamford Hospital.
As a Level II trauma center, Stamford Hospital currently has over 800 trauma admissions. The Hospital is community academic medical center with comprehensive surgical services in all surgical subspecialties. The Department of Surgery has a free-standing surgical residency program and is affiliated with Columbia University School of Medicine with rotating students. Responsibilities include trauma care and service maturation, practice in surgical critical care, general surgery and acute care surgery, and educational responsibilities of our surgical residents and students.
 
Stamford Hospital is a 305-bed teaching community hospital and regional referral center in Southeastern Connecticut, just 45 minutes away from NYC. Stamford Health Medical Group is the affiliated clinical practice organization, with approximately 200 physicians and advanced practice clinicians located at 40 offices in the region.
