Promise Healthcare recognizes the vital role healthcare plays in academic success. Our School-Based Health Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Provider to join our dynamic team. As a School-Based Health Provider, you will play a crucial role in promoting health care and wellness to the students, staff, and family members at one of our School-Based Health Clinics. This position involves collaborating with school staff, participating in promotional activities, and supporting day to day clinic operations.
Promise Healthcare is a community health center in Champaign, Illinois. We have clinics on Bloomington Road and Neil Street in Champaign and a school-based clinic in Urbana. Our facilities are designated Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) that qualify for federal loan repayment programs as well as the IDPH loan repayment program. Competitive compensation with signing bonus and/or loan repayment potential or relocation stipend.
Monday-Friday schedule
Call is approximately 1:8 telephone only (varies with the number of providers)
Medical team includes a team of eight (physicians, NPs and PAs)
Integrated care with Dental, Behavioral Health and Psychiatry
Paid malpractice with 100% tail insurance covered through the Federal Torts Claims Act (FTCA)
$2,500 CME ($2,800 with DEA) and 40 hours per year for full-time position
7 paid holidays

•Bilingual Stipend - Spanish or French (Spanish Bilingual is strongly preferred)
•Loan Repayment - reimbursement for student loan payments up to $80,000 for a full-time, two-year service commitment

Based in Champaign, Illinois, Promise Healthcare is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to improving the health of the community through treatment, prevention, and education. Promise has deep roots in Champaign's underserved communities and serves a diverse population. Approximately 30% of our patients are Spanish speaking. Champaign-Urbana is a growing, diverse community of 195,000 residents and home to the Big-Ten University of Illinois. 3 hours from the Chicago O'Hare International Airport with daily train transportation.
