Identifies nursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patient. Registered Nurse plans individualized patient care while utilizing an interdisciplinary approach. When acting in charge nurse role, registered nurses are responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a therapeutic environment. Respond in a timely manner to requests for information or follow-up with physician, staff or patient issues.
As Cardiovascular Catheterization Lab Nurse, you are responsible and accountable for the delivery of individualized nursing care to adult patients having cardiac catheterization procedures as well as care for patients having specialized radiology procedures. You are responsible for specialized cardiac tests performed on adult as well as pediatric patients.
You will record patients' medical information and vital signs and any other patient care.
A graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Additional courses in physiology and hemodynamic monitoring and EKG interpretation.
Two (2) years’ experience as a Critical Care staff nurse.
Experience in intensive care nursing (ICU/ER)
