Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to utilize a wide range of mechanical and computer skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written
Ability to make decisions and work with limited supervision
Ability to be a self-starter who is able to work varied hours


Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Operates the equipment in the Central Power Plant
Monitors and tests all alarms and responds accordingly
Performs maintenance, repair, and installation of all HVAC equipment
Serves as supervisor of engineering in the absence of the supervisor
Actively participates in the energy management program
Performs chemical analysis on water and fuel associated with HVAC systems
Performs additional duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor
