Louisville Tile of Minneapolis is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee our Minneapolis location. The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all operational and team management aspects of a flooring distribution branch. The branch operations include sales activity, warehousing, customer service, and the showroom. This role requires strong leadership skills, industry knowledge, and a customer-centric approach to drive business growth and ensure operational excellence. The ability to manage budgets and comprehend financial reporting is key. The Branch Managers can gauge their success by monitoring the KPI's for the role and should manage to the standard set by the KPIs. The position is responsible for building relationships within the Branch and marketplace that differentiate Louisville Tile by providing a world-class and innovative solution-oriented customer experience. This is a full-time Monday - Friday position.

A branch manager should possess strong sales and business development skills to increase revenue, expand the customer base, and foster profitable relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Operational Excellence: Strong operational management skills are crucial to ensure smooth branch operations, efficient inventory management, and timely order processing. Team Building and Management: A branch manager should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and manage a cohesive team. This includes recruiting and training employees, setting performance objectives, providing feedback, and fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and employee development.
Financial Management: Sound financial management skills are necessary for budgeting, forecasting, analyzing financial reports, and making data-driven decisions to ensure profitability and cost control. A branch manager should be proficient in financial analysis and possess a strong business acumen.
Adaptability and Resilience: The tile distribution industry is dynamic, and a branch manager should be adaptable to changing market trends, industry regulations, and customer demands. A branch manager should set a positive example by adhering to company policies, respecting confidentiality, and handling sensitive matters with discretion. Oversee Branch Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring smooth functioning of processes related to order processing, inventory management, logistics, and warehouse operations.
Sales and Business Development: Develop and implement sales strategies with sales department to achieve revenue targets, identify business opportunities, and foster strong relationships with customers, contractors, architects, and designers.
Customer Service Excellence: Ensure exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries, ensuring phones are answered, resolving complaints, and building strong customer relationships. Financial Management: Develop and manage the branch budget, monitor expenses, control costs, and analyze financial reports to ensure profitability.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement branch-specific strategies aligned with overall company goals. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to adapt strategies and identify growth opportunities.
Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), sales data, and market trends to assess branch performance. Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement, optimize processes, and drive growth.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, dealers, contractors, builders, architects, and designers to ensure product availability, favorable terms, and enhance collaboration opportunities.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, follow safety protocols, conduct regular inspections, and promote a safe working environment for employees and customers.
Attending industry events, conferences, and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
A branch manager should demonstrate proficiency in various types of technology, including the ERP, Salesforce, dashboards, and reporting tools. By effectively utilizing these technologies, a branch manager can optimize inventory levels, track sales performance, generate accurate financial reports, and make informed business decisions.
