~ Intervention paraprofessionals, also known as behavior intervention paraprofessionals or interventionists, work under the supervision of teachers to support students with behavioral challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students, possess strong math and literacy education skills, and excel in classroom and behavior management.
Monitoring student behavior and communication, redirecting inappropriate behaviors, and administering behavior intervention programs
Helping students build social skills and foster healthy concepts
Materials: Assisting teachers in developing and using materials to enhance learning
Clerical: Preparing, typing, duplicating, and filing instructional materials, maintaining student records, and sending and receiving emails
Participating in the Problem-Solving Model-Response to Intervention (PSM-RtI) process to help determine intervention plans and Individualized Education Program (IEP) services
Previous experience working with children in a school setting, daycare, or Montessori environment is a plus
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
