Certified Nurse Midwife or Family Nurse Practitioner

Providence Mother and Baby Clinics is seeking an On-Call Certified Nurse Midwife or Family Nurse Practitioner to join their skilled and compassionate team of Lactation Consultants. In this role you will serve recently delivered mother/baby couplets during the postpartum period in a lactation focused outpatient practice. You will work closely with pediatricians and OB/GYN providers to provide post discharge follow up of both mother and infant with ongoing lactation support for families who elect to breastfeed. This on-call position requires a minimum commitment of 4 days per month including 1 full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) monthly, and coverage of one summer and one winter holiday required. The Lactation Consultants provide coverage at Providence Portland Medical Center, Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, Providence Reeds Crossing Clinic, and Providence Willamette Falls.

Open to new graduate Family Nurse Practitioners or Certified Nurse Midwifes with previous postpartum or pediatric RN experience
IBCLC certification to be obtained within 12-months of hire with financial assistance from Providence
