Senior Product Manager Summary:
Delinea is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our PM team and drive the roadmap and future for products that enable access to PAM capabilities, such as Remote Access and client-side applications. This Product Manager will define the functional requirements for these products and will drive execution in alignment with Delinea's vision and strategy.
What You’ll Do:
- Work with customers to understand their requirements. Dig deep to uncover the customer’s business challenges that underpin the requirements. Empathize and champion the customer’s problems as it relates to their businesses
- Work hands-on with the products and see it through a user's eyes in order to deliver the optimal user experience, discover gotchas and pain points, weigh in on alternatives and options with solutions
- Work with the PM leadership team to align with the Delinea vision. Contribute to developing the overall strategy for the vision and plan on major milestones for edge products
- Evangelize the edge solution’s vision and strategy to sales, customers and other stakeholders
- Maintain a prioritized backlog and roadmap including and balancing a mix of features, bugs, technical investments and research
- Express the backlog as user-stories, use-cases and similar artifacts in order to help engineers solve the problem. Also, express the success criteria that defines success for a backlog item
- Collaborate with the broader product management team to identify inter-team or inter-product dependencies and help align deliverables
- Make recommendations, help implement repeatable PM best-practices and develop a common culture for the broad PM org
- Partner with Engineering and User experience teams and guide the complete user experience for solutions
- Help the Product Marketing team articulate the value proposition for Delinea edge solutions and collaborate on Go-to-Market activities
- Support Sales and support teams with customer conversations, feature prioritization and occasional demos to articulate the value proposition and longer-term vision
What You’ll Need:
- 5+ years of product management experience with a technical background in building SaaS, workstation and experimentation
- Empathy for all stakeholders beginning with customers. The ability to ask questions that holds product or solution biases in check so as to accurately gauge real problems
- Curiosity to delve into products, tools, documentation and experimentation
- Understanding of the basic aspects of IT from a cybersecurity and operational points of view, networking, remote access, virtualization and DevOps tool i.e. understanding the world in which our customers operate
- A technical degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or comparable professional experience
- Some experience with building consensus across cross-functional teams
- Experience with some Agile methodologies to conduct software development
Bonus if You Have:
- Experience with public cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP...), API first services, and self-service tools
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools
- Live and work in Seattle Area
