Registered Nurse Emergency Trauma Specialist
The Inova Virts Miller Family Emergency and Trauma Center is a full service emergency department for adults at Inova Loudoun Hospital. It is a Joint Commission-certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center and an integral part of the trauma program at Inova Loudoun Hospital – Loudoun County’s only designated trauma center.

Full Time. Nights - 7 pm to 7 am

As a Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department (ED) Trauma Specialist, you will support and adhere to hospital policies, procedures, philosophies and missions. To help achieve our mission, you will communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others while having respect for and an understanding of other clinical disciplines. Demonstrating leadership skills in decision making and problem solving while providing safe/therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way is required. Utilizing standards, guidelines and pathways for care delivery while incorporating data and information to continuously improve care/practice and to enhance outcomes is expected.
12 hours shift Nights (7 pm to 7 am)
* Experience: Minimum of 2 year of RN ED experience in a Leveled Trauma hospital.
* Must obtain advanced certification in applicable modality within 1 year of training; Adult Trauma Nurse Specialist will require ACLS upon hire. About Inova Health System
