As a Hospital Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care to hospital patients during the night shift (7 pm - 7 am). You will collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team to assess respiratory needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes. Mechanical Ventilation: Initiate and monitor both invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
~Breathing Therapy: Conduct various types of breathing therapy and patient assessments to improve respiratory function.
~Pulmonary Techniques: Perform postural drainage, percussion, and bronchial hygiene techniques to enhance patient respiratory health.
~Blood Gas Analysis: Carry out blood gas puncture and analysis, maintaining quality control of blood gas analyzers.
~Emergency Response: Respond to cardiac arrest and Rapid Response situations, performing CPR and emergency endotracheal intubation of adult patients.

~Current and valid New York State Respiratory Therapy license.
