Our organization is looking for an experienced Windows Automation Engineer for a (1-3) years contract position in Raleigh, NC/Hybrid Remote.

*Candidates must be either a US Citizen or Green Card US Permanent resident.*

*Candidates must have lived in the US for at least (5) years and can't have been outside the US in the last (5) years more than (6) months cumulative. This requirement is for the Public Trust Security Clearance.*

6. Special Skills: 10+ years exp., bs/ba, windows, automation, powershell, ansible, change management, awx, ansible tower, python, perl, rudy, kubernetes, dockers, sles, rhel, git, devops

*Minimum Qualifications:*
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 10 years of experience. Additional experience may be substituted for degree.
• SME-level accountability for a specific technology and backup/secondary responsibility for another technology.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server technologies.
• Strong Powershell or Ansible scripting experience, especially with the goal of automation
• Experience working under a Change Management umbrella, with strong policies and approval chain.
• Able to demonstrate a strong engineering mindset throughout the project lifecycle.
• Able to take responsibility and will pro-actively look to identify and improve existing processes and practices within the environment.
• Excellent Communication skills, strong interpersonal skills
• Must be able to multi-task and respond effectively under pressure.
• Continues professional education and create opportunities for core product teams to learn engineering best practices.
• Ability to communicate well to other members of the team.
• Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance – US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) and must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in last 5 years.
• Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years

*Desired Skills:*
• Significant experience with AWX / Ansible Tower
• Experience with different languages to include Python, Perl, Ruby, PowerShell or equivalent.
• Experience with containers to include Kubernetes and/or Docker.
• Solid Understanding of modern operating systems and network technologies sufficient to automate associated processes – Windows / SLES / RHEL
• Integration of Git, in continuous deployment
• Strong experience with DevOps automation tools like Docker, Ansible.
