The ACU/PACU nurse will monitor all post op patients who enter the ACU and PACU post surgery or other invasive procedures. Competencies include ACLS, airway and cardiac monitoring expertise, emergency care and the ability to care for all patient populations. The PACU works closely with the anesthesia department and assists in coordination of patient care.
