Amida is currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join our team in Washington DC (hyrbid) or a remote location.
In this role you will be focused on the design and implementation of Amida's software platforms, applications, and features in a full-stack capacity. You will proactively participate in every aspect of the software development lifecycle including design, implementation, test design, test implementation, optimization, and delivery utilizing the latest technologies.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
Experience developing software applications in an Agile environment
10+ years of experience in software engineering and development
2+ years of front-end development experience including React
1+ years of front-end development experience including utilizing component and stylesheet libraries such as MaterialUI and Tailwind etc
1+ years of development utilizing TypeScript
Familiarity with Relational Databases and SQL
Experience in handling and transforming healthcare data
A firm grasp of RESTful API design and scalable web architecture
Experience with continuous integration/build automation tools such as GitHub Actions Workflow, Jenkins, etc
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and drive to deliver best-in-class software products
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
Deep understanding of frontend testing, including UI testing via frameworks such as Puppeteer or Playwright
Experience at integrating with AWS or Azure cloud-based services
A sense of humor is an asset at Amida.
