We are currently hiring a Radio Frequency (RF) / Electrical (EE)-focused Responsible Systems Engineer (RSE) supporting RF systems to join the Effectors Systems Design & Architecture (SDA) organization located in Tucson, AZ.

As Systems Engineer, you will be expected to gain in-depth knowledge of an RF and/or Electrical, and/or signal processing focused subsystem. You will be expected to take higher level systems requirements and be able to decompose and allocate them into specific requirements for RF subsystem performance that our team can design and test to. You will collaborate with other Engineering disciplines to help define the requirements, interfaces, subsystem behavior, and how the subsystem will integrate into the overall system and architecture. Our RSEs work both in the office and spend hands-on time with the hardware during design, integration and design verification testing at multiple levels from subsystem design to system level flight testing.

Lead technical discussions, and formulate plans of action by leveraging company Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across multiple engineering disciplines
Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and eight (8) years of experience in one or more of the following technical domains, OR an Advanced STEM degree and minimum five (5) years of professional experience in the following technical domains:
Systems engineering, architecture, and/or design
Electronics (RF circuit card assemblies, subassemblies, complete systems) requirements, integration, and verification
S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Understanding of and experience across the Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle
Ability to perform trade studies to optimize system performance
Experience evaluating and mitigating technical risks
Work experience in a challenging fast paced environment
Experience with Matlab, C, C#, C++, Python
