Raleigh General Hospital is a 300-bed facility caring for nearly 13,000 patients each year with over 50,000 being treated in our emergency room. We offer a wide range of surgical services as well as specialty programs including Cardiac CTA, Digital Mammography, and Trauma Services.

~ Provides direct patient care utilizing nursing processes in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Treats medical, surgical, telemetry and oncology patients requiring nursing care, including assessment, problem identification, pre-operative assessment, pre and post operative care. Initiates life saving procedures, providing emergency care for each patient and palliative care to terminal patients. · Plans nursing care. Documents to reflect plan of patient care, interventions, change in condition, assessments, etc.
· Evaluates the assessment, planning and intervention process.
· Delivers direct patient care appropriate to the age of patient served including adult and geriatric patients.
Graduate of a Program in Discipline - Required
· Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Current licensure by the WV State Board of Nursing
