Chief Medical Resident

Join our growing and compassionate team at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, IN We are seeking a Division Chief for the Acute Care Surgery Team to help provide top quality care, enhance research and align patient care standards. The Division Chief will provide strategic and operational leadership across the full range of Division service areas, including the tripartite missions of the academic institution, clinical and administrative service, education and research. Additional Employment Opportunity Details:
~ Full-time employed opportunity
~ Provide services at two Level 1 Trauma Centers that combine for over 6000 admissions annually
~ Academic appointment with the IU School of Medicine, salary and academic/clinical rank will be commensurate or are commensurate with experience
~ Acute Care Surgery consisting of surgical ICU, trauma, emergency general surgery and opportunity for elective surgery/robotics cases
~ Completion of a Surgical Critical Care Fellowship
American Board of Surgery BE/BC
Physician MD licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in the state
IUHP also serves as the faculty practice plan of Indiana University School of Medicine , and brings together faculty physicians, IU Health-affiliated physicians and private practice physicians to give highly skilled doctors access to innovative treatments using the latest research and technology.
