Associate's Degree in Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Valid State of Oklahoma Licensure in Occupational Therapy Assist.
Work Experience: 0 - 6 months related experience.
Ability to use computers, basic computer knowledge, as needed for data input and reporting. Documents understanding and instruction of home programs to patient/family. suggests adaptations of equipment and/or environment in accordance with patient’s needs. Assists with students and volunteers, equipment, and/or environment. Follows set guidelines for daily operations in order to assist with administration of department. Is responsible for upkeep of equipment and resource materials. Decision Making: Independent judgment in making minor decisions where alternatives are limited and standard policies/protocols have been established.
Has input on performance evaluations but does not prepare or give. Works with internal customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with external customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff.
