Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Structural Enginner to work in the Worthington, Ohio area. This is a direct hire position that offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with architects to create efficient and economical designs consistent with the aesthetic design intent.
  • Produce structural design calculations for building structural components including foundations
    Typical components include steel, masonry, concrete and wood materials.
  • Analyze building structures with 3D computer software.
  • Create and modify design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Work collaboratively with the internal design team in preparing designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Assist in basic interpretation and verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards and practices.
  • Work with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the coordination of the project under the direction of the project manager.
  • Assist the team in providing support services during construction that can include submittal reviews, responses to requests for information and contract document clarifications.
  • Perform site visits for construction observation.
Qualifications:
  • BS in engineering, MS preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural analysis and design.
  • Licensure/Certification: PE certification is preferred, or PE certification must be successfully obtained within 12 months of employment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in the design of structures and the production of construction documents.
  • Knowledge of building systems and detailing.
  • Efficient work ethic to complete tasks on time and within budgets.
  • Proficient in structural design/analysis software.
  • Must be flexible and adapt easily to changing priorities, work independently and/or in a team environment; strong attention to detail.
Additional Information:
  • This is an exempt position with paid overtime.
  • We are currently not offering visa sponsorships and applicants must provide proof of eligibility and authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
