We are currently seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Lower Elementary Assistant will work collaboratively with the Lead Teacher to create a supportive and engaging learning environment for children ages 6-9. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of young learners while gaining valuable experience in the field of Montessori education.
Assist the Lead Teacher in preparing and maintaining a well-equipped Montessori classroom environment that fosters independence and exploration.
# Curriculum Implementation: Support the implementation of the Montessori curriculum by preparing materials, guiding children through activities, and facilitating hands-on learning experiences.
# Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Lead Teacher and other staff members to ensure continuity in curriculum delivery, assessment of student progress, and communication with parents.
# Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to deepen understanding of the Montessori philosophy and enhance teaching practices.

Bachelor's degree preferred.
Montessori Assistant certification or willingness to pursue certification.
Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting is desirable.
