Overview Join our team as a day shift , full-time , Central Telemetry Monitor Technician in Albuquerque, NM . Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital, with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology and oncology services. We believe healthcare is a team sport and every player has something to contribute. Responsibilities Documents EKG rhythms, EKG measurements, and EKG changes in the patient record. Maintain constant communication with primary RN and articulate wave patterns using appropriate medical terminology. Trouble shoot with RN regarding lead wires off, electrode and battery changes, and proper lead placement to ensure optimal rhythm configuration on the telemetry monitor. Maintains and cleans equipment and supplies. Notify BioMed of all malfunctions and problems with equipment as soon as possible. Medical Terminology Preferred Job Requirements: Associates degree in related field One (1) year in specialty area, rhythm recognition skill set
