As the Inpatient Psychiatric Nurse Supervisor, you'll be the catalyst for change and growth within our behavioral health unit. The Inpatient Nurse Supervisor of Psychiatric Services will lead a supportive team on the weekend shift dedicated to improving the lives of those facing psychiatric challenges. Together, they are focused on providing the best care, ensuring their team adheres to accrediting and regulatory agency standards, as well as their hospital and departmental policies. They emphasize the importance of patient-centered care and a strong customer service standard. As an Inpatient Nurse Supervisor of Psychiatric Services, you're the embodiment of professionalism and an exemplary role model. A background in Behavioral Health and Psychiatric Nursing, as well as strong leadership will help earn a fast interview. The Psychiatric Services Nurse Supervisor will serve as a mentor and champion for the staff, supporting educational initiatives and opportunities to improve patient care. Simultaneously, this person will lead development and maintenance of the departmental budget, will oversee quality improvement initiatives, and will maintain proper regulatory compliance. The Inpatient Nurse Supervisor of Psychiatric Services reports directly to the CNO, and oversees the nursing department, managing 14+ FTEs during the weekend shifts when the CNO is absent.
